1、 Application of vacuum concentrator

Vacuum concentratorUsed for the vacuum low-temperature evaporation and concentration process of liquid materials in industries such as Chinese and Western pharmaceuticals, biochemical pharmaceuticals, deep processing of agricultural and sideline products, health drinks, food, fine chemicals, and light industry. 2、 Working principle of vacuum concentrator

A steam (boiler steam) enters the first effect heating chamber to heat the material liquid. The material liquid is heated and rises, and at the same time, under the action of vacuum, it is sprayed into the first effect evaporation chamber from the nozzle. The material liquid in the evaporation chamber returns from the bend to the heating chamber, and is heated and sprayed into the evaporation chamber to form a cycle. When the material liquid is sprayed into the evaporation chamber, it becomes a mist, and the water in the material liquid is quickly evaporated. The evaporated second steam enters the second effect heating chamber to heat the second effect material liquid. Similarly, a third cycle is formed. The fourth steam evaporated from the third effect evaporation chamber enters the cooler, and the water in the material liquid is continuously evaporated, and the concentration is increased. To increase the concentration of the material liquid, it is concentrated by the first effect. The valve below the evaporation chamber can be opened to allow the liquid to enter the second and third effects from the first effect and continue to concentrate until it reaches the desired density. If the concentration of the concentrated liquid per unit is high, The temperature of the three effects can be increased to improve the flowability of the liquid, and the specific operation can be adjusted by the user.

3、 Characteristics of vacuum concentrator

1. Energy saving benefits, calculated according to the SJN-1000 model, can save about 3500 tons of steam, about 9 tons of water, and about 80000 kWh of electricity annually, equivalent to RMB 100000-150000 (compared with single effect).

2. The vacuum concentrator adopts a natural circulation evaporation method with negative pressure external heating, which has a fast evaporation speed and a high concentration ratio, reaching 1.2-1.35 (generally for traditional Chinese medicine extracts).

4、 Operation and use of vacuum concentrator

1. Check if the vacuum pump is intact and if the lubricating oil is sufficient.

2. Whether the concentrator is clean and sealed properly, and whether the opening positions of each valve are correct.

3. Turn on the vacuum pump to maintain the vacuum gauge pressure in the first, second, and third effect evaporation chambers at 0.06 MPa. Open the feed valve to feed the first effect. When the liquid reaches 1/2 of the sight glass in the evaporation chamber, close the feed valve and open the steam valve to heat up (0.03 MPa). After normal evaporation, adjust the gauge pressure to 0.06~0.09 MPa appropriately, and then feed the third effect liquid to 1/2 of the sight glass.

4. Supplement liquid: When the liquid evaporates and decreases, it can be replenished to 1/2 of the sight glass in a timely manner.

A、 Intermittent feeding, open the feeding valves of the three evaporation chambers, and replenish the liquid to 1/2 of the sight glass;

B、 Connect the feed, open three feed valves, adjust the valve according to the evaporation rate of each effect to control the feed amount, and close the feed valve when the liquid reaches 1/2 of a sight glass.

5. Pasting: After a certain period of concentration and evaporation through the three effects, the volume of the liquid material decreases and the concentration increases, breaking the vacuum of the three effects. The main feeding valve is closed, and the liquid material of the three effects is discharged from the paste outlet.

5、 Vacuum Concentrator Cleaning Procedure

1. Cleaning: For production of the same variety, it is normal for the steam pressure in the first effect heating chamber to be maintained at around 0.09MPa/cm. If the steam pressure significantly increases, it indicates that the paste has attached to the pipe wall and formed scale, affecting heat transfer. At this time, open the hand hole of the first effect heating chamber and use a round steel brush to remove the scale to resume production. The first effect can be cleaned once every ten days, the second effect can be cleaned once every six months, and the third effect can be cleaned once every six months.

2. Change the variety and clean: Boil with a 10% caustic soda solution for half an hour, then scrub the inside of the equipment.

3. Shutdown: Take an appropriate amount of clean water and steam for half an hour, release the sewage, then add an appropriate amount of clean water, turn off the vacuum pump, drain the clean water, and keep the equipment at normal pressure
